As the vaping world advances, so does its gears and instruments. Nearly all vapers are now using more advanced vaping devices that come with clear reusable tank mechanisms, rather than disposable cartridges and containers that are thrown away after use. The majority of these vape devices have to be cleaned on a regular basis to ensure a comfy vaping moment as well as prolong the lifespan of those instruments. That’s why experts are discussing the tips on how to cleanse your vape tanks.
When and Why You Need to Cleanse Your Vape Tanks.
It’s advised that you make a habit of thoroughly cleaning your vape about once a week. This is the part that a large number of users don’t know about. The simplified maintenance and cleaning of your best e liquid flavors have a huge effect on the overall quality and longevity of your vape. This results in a more comfortable and painless vaping experience.
Foreign Objects Inside the Tank.
One of the most ignored reasons to maintain and wash your tank is to clean out any germs or pocket lint that may have snuck in there. Mouths can be a dirty place. It isn’t too unlikely to assume that many users have accidentally dripped some spit into their tanks while they vape. What’s more, think about all the pieces and bits of pocket-paraphernalia that could have made its way into the tank. Have a look at what you can do to properly clean your tank and ensure you’re getting the possible vaping experience.
What You’ll Need.
- Toothbrush/Cotton swabs
- Paper towels/Cloth
- Warm Water
- Replacement Coil
Eliminate Any E-Juices That Stayed Inside the Tank.
Once the tank is emptied, disassemble the tank and start placing each piece into a bowl of warm water. Based on how long it’s been since the last time you’ve washed your tank, you might have to add a little bit of hand-soap to your bowl of water for an extra kick of cleaning power. Stir the pieces of the tank around the bowl with your finger. Make sure the water is touching every part of the tank.
Fill Another Container with Vodka/Water.
Next, fill up the 2nd bowl with equal parts of vodka/water and transfer the pieces of the tank into the new vodka solution. If you used soap in the previous step, make sure you rinse the soap off the tank before you place the pieces in the vodka water. The vodka water will help disinfect the tank thoroughly and add a little extra shine to the stainless steel sections of the tank. Allow the tank at least 5 minutes to sit in the vodka solution.
Rinsing the Tank to Wash Away Any of the Residual Alcohol.
Now you’re going to rinse the tank one last time to wash away any of the residual alcohol, and then grab a cotton swab or toothbrush to clean the threaded areas of the tank. Take the cotton swab or toothbrush and brush away excess grime that’s still on the threads. When the threads are clean, take your paper towel/cloth to dry off each piece of the tank.
Now that the tank is entirely dry, go ahead and install the new coil. Then, reassemble and fill the tank.
